The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade will finalise an updated Foreign Trade Policy and Action Plan in fiscal year 2026/27, aimed at boosting exports, attracting investment, and driving Jamaica’s economic recovery and growth.

This was revealed by Governor-General, His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Patrick Allen, while delivering the Throne Speech during the ceremonial opening of Parliament for the 2026/27 Financial Year, held at Gordon House on Thursday (February 12).
