Mr. Richard Coe, JP, Managing Director of Fleetwood Ltd, boasts a distinguished career bridging the financial and manufacturing sectors. He is a Vice President on the Board of Directors at the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), leveraging his expertise to drive industry growth. His extensive involvement in national development extends to critical governmental bodies like the board of the National Compliance and Regulatory Authority (NCRA) where he serves as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee. He also serves on the Procurement Review Board, the Board of Commissioners of the National Commission of Science and Technology, highlighting his influence in policy shaping and public service. He is also on the advisory committee of the Honeybun Foundation where he acts as business mentor for small, medium enterprises (SMEs).
Beyond boardroom responsibilities, Richard owns and directs Fleetwood Jamaica Limited and its divisions, Fleetwood Home Improvements, Orion Manufacturing Services and Starfish Oils, well-renowned for their production and distribution of home improvement, personal care, sanitization and aromatherapy products. His transition from banking and finance roles at Simpson Finance, First Global Financial Services, and HSBC Bank in London reflects his adaptability and broad skill set.
Academically, Richard holds a B.Sc. in Hospitality Management and an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, underpinning his multidisciplinary approach to business.
Richard is also a Justice of the Peace within the Parish of St. Andrew.
