is an experienced businessman who has worked in a variety of commercial and leadership roles within the local and international business environment.
Mr. Jacks is an accomplished Real Estate Dealer and Developer. For two (2) years he marketed and sold residential properties for Pan Jam subsidiary, Jamaica Properties Limited. As major shareholder and Chief Executive Officer of C.O. S & Associates Ltd, he constructed and marketed 12 residential housing complex in Kingston 10 and Kingston 8.
Throughout his business career, Mr. Jacks has amassed vast experience in Import and Export distribution, Economics, Banking and Finance. His academic qualifications include both a Bachelor and Master of Business Administration, as well as multiple certificates in Project Design, Implementation and Management.
Mr. Jacks has served as President of Jamaica Fancy Products, Cojacks Limited and his New York based agricultural import and distribution company, COJ Foods Inc. He is also a former Director of Finance with the Jamaica Tourist Board.
A man of varied business interest, Mr. Jacks wrote for The Daily Gleaner as a Freelance Journalist. His contributions to the publication were made during the period from February to May 1993, wherein he wrote several articles analysing the Construction Industry in Jamaica, at the request of the publication’s Editor.
Mr. Jacks is married with 5 children. He enjoys reading, music, and cricket as hobbies.
He has served as a Commissioner with the ADSC since 2018.
