Mrs. Andria Whyte Walters, LL.B

Mrs. Andria D. Whyte Walters is an Attorney-at-Law and the founder and Principal of WHYTE WALTERS LAW, a full-service firm in Jamaica. Guided by her motto, “A Voice for the Voiceless, A Shield for the Defenceless, An Advocate for ALL,” she is a fierce advocate with extensive experience appearing before the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and Parish Courts.

A dedicated public servant, Andria is a Justice of the Peace, Mediator, Restorative Justice Facilitator, and a member of the Jamaican Bar Association. Her extensive expertise in governance and policy has helped shape key national development projects, reflected in her robust portfolio of leadership roles. She currently serves as the Chairman of the University Council of Jamaica and is the former Chairman of the Anti-dumping and Subsidies Commission. Additionally, she lends her strategic vision to several critical public and commercial entities as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Airports Authority of Jamaica, the Norman Manley International Airport, EXIM Bank, the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, and the International Center for Nuclear Science.

Andria holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London and a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School, where she was the 2020 Class Valedictorian and a global moot court champion. Deepening her commitment to national advancement, she is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Development Studies, specializing in Governance and Public Policy, at SALISES, UWI.
