
Kibret Beckford
General Manager of the Commission, Kibret M. Beckford, M.B.A., B.B.A.,
Ms. Beckford has a Master of Business Administration majoring in Supply Chain Management from Howard University, Washington, DC, 2007 and is a graduate of the University of Technology, Jamaica, with both a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounts, 2000, and a Business Administration Diploma, majoring in Finance, 1995.
Joining the Anti-dumping and Subsidies Commission in February 2009, as General Manager, Ms. Beckford is responsible for overall management of the Commission’s Human Resources, Financial Resources, and IT infrastructure. She also shares responsibility with her colleagues at the Commission and at the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce for timely and accurate support of the Commissioners in investigating and resolution of trade remedy cases.
Ms. Beckford comes to the Commission with over ten years financial/accounting experience some of which was garnered in the United States where she worked as a Business Analyst with Abbott Vascular, the medical devices arm of Abbott Pharmaceutical. Ms. Beckford has a wealth of private sector experience gained from industries spanning leisure, advertising, manufacturing, retail and pharmaceutical.
